The Western Center Thespian Troupe was created in the fall of 2016. As the fine art base for a primarily STEM based school, the Western Center thespian troupe brings a breath of fresh air to both the students and faculty. Working around their busy schedules, members of the troupe show their endless dedication to theater spending long hours practicing both at school and the Ramona Bowl. As the troupe motto illustrates, the Western Center Academy thespian troupe is full of hard working people who love theater.

Almost Maine comprises of nine short plays exploring love and loss in the small, remote, mystical almost-town of Almost, Maine. There are eleven short scenes: the Prologue (which continues in the Interlogue and Epilogue), Her Heart, Sad and Glad, This Hurts, Getting It Back, They Fell, Where It Went, Story of Hope, and Seeing the Thing, where each takes a new twist to the meaning of love while making small allusions to other characters in the other nine stories.
